Before you engage us

The three questions that come up in almost every scoping call. There are more on the resources page.

Do I need SABER certification for every shipment to Saudi Arabia?

You need a Shipment Certificate for every consignment, and it can only be raised against a valid annual Product Certificate. So the product-level certificate is obtained once a year and the shipment certificate is obtained every time you ship.

How long does SABER certification take?

A product certificate typically takes between three and ten working days once complete test evidence is available. If accredited lab testing is still required, add one to three weeks for the testing itself. Shipment certificates are usually issued within one to two working days.

Will you accept test reports from our existing laboratory?

If the laboratory is ISO 17025 accredited for the relevant scope and the report covers the applicable standard, existing reports are often acceptable and save both time and cost. Send the report and we will confirm before you commit to re-testing.
